What are Lip-Ties & Tongue-Ties?
Frenulum are bands of muscle and fiber that attach the lips, tongue, and cheeks to the bone and gums. When these bands of tissue are thick or restrictive, they may contribute to difficulties with breast- or bottle-feeding, limited lip mobility for cleaning the teeth, and potential for speech articulation issues.
